    The Assistant Vice President will have accounting and reporting responsibilities relating to Oaktree’s equity compensation and other key financial data.


    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Managing the equity compensation systems;
    • Managing relationships with transfer agents, brokers, and external advisors;
    • Monthly reconciliation of equity gains in the compensation systems to ensure proper year-end reporting;
    • Reporting accurate and timely equity information for quarterly financials and SEC filings;
    • Delivering accurate and timely equity reporting to payroll, human resources, legal, and external stakeholders;
    • Managing and responding to inquiries related to equity compensation data;
    • Building and maintaining databases of other key financial and tax information;
    • Identifying and leading process improvement opportunities for all facets related to compensation accounting;
    • Developing critical protocols to ensure continuous equity data integrity and scalability;
    • Leadership in project management, management of issues, and strategic planning; and
    • Performing other tasks and projects as necessary.


    • 8-10 years of stock administration experience
    • Knowledge or interest in technology and project management is a plus
    • Certified Equity Professional (preferred)

    A Bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis in finance or accounting preferred.  A Master’s degree is a plus.
