    Responsibilities

    We are seeking an Associate to join the Energy Infrastructure Fund team. The infrastructure team has managed approximately $7.6 billion on behalf of Oaktree’s managed funds and co-investors, with investments in various forms of infrastructure including but not limited to energy, environmental services, infrastructure and transportation. This individual will work with the Energy team that exclusively focuses on control investing in energy, with $2.5  billion in assets.

     

    The Associate will participate in all transaction functions and portfolio management activities.

     

    Responsibilities include:

    • Preparing detailed financial modeling
    • Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis
    • Developing and maintaining business and industry due diligence and monitoring economic trends
    • Preparing materials for investment committee and other internal meetings
    • Conducting deal structuring, legal documentation, negotiations and post-closing deal monitoring
    • Helping to source new investment opportunities

    Qualifications

    • 3-4 years’ experience as an analyst with a top investment firm, investment bank or similar organization, which might include experience in M&A, leveraged finance, private equity and/or energy & power
    • Outstanding financial modeling and analytical skills
    • Demonstrated competency in financial statement analysis, business valuation, accounting and finance

    Education
