    As a member of the Client Relations team, the Diligence Services – Firm Analytics Analyst will support current and prospective clients/consultants in responding to their quantitative ad-hoc and recurring requests related to diligence and ongoing monitoring efforts.  Additionally, the Diligence Services – Firm Analytics Analyst will serve as a firm resource for analysis related to Oaktree’s assets under management and client/account turnover.


    Additional responsibilities include:


    • Interacting with functional areas across the company including but not limited to portfolio management, portfolio analysis and reporting, marketing representatives, client services representatives, accounting, compliance, legal and operations in order to complete marketing requests;
    • Responding to ad-hoc external and internal requests within deadlines;
    • Responding to recurring client/consultant analytical diligence requests;
    • Performing ad-hoc and recurring reporting and analysis related to AUM data;
    • Maintaining accounts gained and lost data and performing ad-hoc and recurring reporting and analysis related to firm and strategy account turnover;
    • Update and perform quality control on consultant website databases;
    • Perform quality control checks on data and analysis conducted by internal team members;
    • Identifying and executing on opportunities to build efficiencies through process and technological improvements around routine based data related tasks.


    • Strong command of all or a majority of Oaktree’s investment strategies (in particular, Listed Equities, Corporate Debt, Distressed Debt, Control Investing and Real Estate) and their relevant operating, performance and risk metrics;
    • Experience responding to RFP and / or client-related inquiries for firm and fund specific information; 
    • Proven ability to prioritize high volumes of work from a multitude of sources while maintaining the highest quality standards; exceptional organizational skills;
    • Exceptional quantitative skillset:  ability to craft thoughtful analysis using large datasets.
    • Articulate and creative communicator; ability to interpret data and analysis for a wide range of audiences.

    A Bachelor’s degree is required (major in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field preferred).
