The position of Trade Operations Business Analyst is within the Project Management Office (PMO) of the Accounting & Operational Support department. This person will own and drive process and technology improvement projects concentrating on Trade Operations-related initiatives in close coordination with the team in Oaktree’s headquarters in Los Angeles. They will also be the key point of contact for day-to-day support on the new trading platform as Oaktree migrates from its legacy system.
On an ongoing basis, this person would also support regional issue tracking and reporting, and would be the primary candidate for working in other areas with BA needs outside of the immediate group they support, for example Accounting system enablement, reporting, etc. We are moving towards an architecture where Oaktree-wide data is normalized in common systems (e.g., all of Accounting in Geneva, all trades in Black Mountain) so the approach to getting at and using data will become standardized. This person would be the on-site enabler for the business operating in the new environment.
