    Based in downtown Los Angeles, the Web Developer will be part of the IT Application Development team.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Serving as the implementation lead for all new public website builds: creating/executing project plans and interfacing with design teams, NASDAQ, and other external data sources to achieve timely delivery of new web facing products;
    • Developing plans, gaining agreement upon and implementing strategic enhancements to the public website (e.g., translating sites, adding proper workflow and staging environment);
    • Managing the creation of new pages on all Oaktree public websites (e.g., diversity efforts, etc.);
    • Managing large-scale changes to public web (e.g., strategy name changes, personnel additions/promotions/departures, new offices, asset classification);
    • Managing posting content and memos authored by Oaktree’s Co-Chairman on the public website;
    • Managing quarterly and AUM updates on the public website;
    • Developing and documenting processes and procedures for the management of all public websites, including establishing SLAs when needed;
    • Serving as final approver for all website changes;
    • Tracking and reporting statistics on all public websites and intranet portals;
    • Auditing competitor’s websites;
    • Requesting and maintaining new and “similar” domain names;
    • Performing semi-annual public website and internal portal audits and holding groups accountable for updating their pages;
    • Managing inquiries regarding updates to public websites;
    • Managing inquiries regarding posting new content to our portals;
    • Creating mock-ups for any public website changes;
    • Managing the posting of new content to internal portals;
    • Maintaining new content/change calendars for the public website and internal portals;
    • Submitting and managing the Compliance review process for any public website changes;
    • Working closely with IT specialists to ensure 24/7 availability and optimal performance of servers and network infrastructure;
    • Testing website performance using stress testing techniques and testing content using different types of browsers, operating systems and mobile devices; and
    • Stays abreast of new vulnerabilities and uses subject matter expertise in security threats to protect web assets and client data.



    • 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the financial services industry;
    • Strong project management skills;
    • Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and HTML;
    • Experience with content management, creating animation, video, logos and other artwork through tools such as Adobe Illustrator;
    • Knowledge of webmaster tools from Google and Bing; and
    • Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities.
