Responsibilities

Oaktree is seeking  summer undergraduate Interns to spend 8-weeks within one of the following investment funds Distressed Debt, Real Estate, U.S. High Yield Bonds, Special Situations, Power Opportunities and Middle Market Finance strategies. The internships will begin in the summer of 2018. The Interns will participate in transaction functions and portfolio management activities.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the team in preparing detailed financial models
  • Assist the team in performing quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Assist the team in developing and maintaining business and industry due diligence
  • Assist the team in conducting deal structuring, legal documentation, negotiations and post-closing deal monitoring

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Strong capabilities in Excel

  • The successful candidate will have outstanding initiative and be a self-starter
  • The candidate must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skill
  • The candidate will be team-oriented and collaborative and must possess strong integrity and professionalism

Education

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a high GPA from a top university or college with an expected graduation date of spring 2019.
